Recently J.J. Abrams tweeted out this pic (see right) and said, "Hot off the presses. Can you guess what's behind the cover?" According to fan speculation this is most likely the script for Episode VII or for the remake of the Star Wars: Holiday Special (oh wait... that just my personal dream... sorry.), Episode VII will most likely be out summer 2015. |

After over twenty years of life LucasArts is dead. Well, at least dead as a game studio. Yes, Disney killed it all 1313, First Assault, Monkey Island and more. LucasArts is the latest member of the list of 150 game devs turned victims by Disney. But LucasArts lives in one way. All Star Wars games will still be licensed off the LucasArts. Still we will all mourn the lose of LA and their Golden Age.
The time has come, execute the "cancellation" of The Clone Wars. Yep. It is finally happening Star Wars: The Clone Wars after five season is finishing up. But their is hope is still here. The show was not completely "cancelled" but instead put to a temporary end. As reported earlier this month season seven was being worked on and we one day might see it. Since losing those episode would probably given them a nice little cult status, they are being released (nothing now can challenge the cult status of the great Waru). While the Cartoon Network contract is done we are possibly getting these episode on a DVD release or online. One last thing the Star Wars comedy Detour is now being "reconsidered," so that show does come out expect it to be awhile.
You remember the planned Star Wars live-action TV show that been sitting on the back burners for a few years may see the light of day with the new Disney deal. You might have heard of the new TV show S.H.E.L.D. that is coming out on ABC soon. It is connected to the Marvel movies universe. Well Disney is now think about doing the same thing with Star Wars. While it still only in talks the show is now most likely to be a reality due to the widespread movement and popularity of the idea. If you may have forgotten the plot of the show is below for you. Sources say the live-action series centers on the story of rival families struggling over the control of the seedy underside of the Star Wars universe and the people who live within the subterranean level and air shafts of the metropolis planet Coruscant (the Empire’s urban-sprawl-covered home planet). A bounty hunter may be the main character. Set between the original Star Wars film trilogy and the prequels, the time period allows for all sorts of potential appearances from classic figures from the Star Wars universe. -Entertainment Weekly Also in the work is another TV series for Star Wars we have no clue about. It will be animated and it is not The Clone Wars or Detours, as we figured out by comments from LucasFilm. So this mean we might get a third new Star Wars TV show in the next few years.
